Many times I've flown American or Delta bc SW is more expensive.

From that article, SW revenue is 5x the amount of Spirit.

Spirit = Taco Bell
Frontier = White Castle
Southwest = ……Hardee’s/Carls Jr

I've always flown Southwest and never had an issue but it seems their constant attempts of not reinvesting to improve their IT infrastructure came back to bite them back in the ass.

This is the downside of capitalism that some folks on this board champion. It incentivizes doing the bare minimum to achieve the most profit.

I've been watching alot of videos on the SW collapse the last few days. Their use of point
to point, instead of hub and spoke flight routes, along with usin schedule tech that
dates back to Bush SR being president, caused all this shyt to happen. I hope their fines
end up in the tens of millions for this shyt.

My flight from DC to Louisiana got delayed 3x then finally delayed last month with American Airlines. I was in the airport all day on a non-crowd Thursday. I was pissed, I missed a balloon release, brother's party and my friend's funeral. I couldve been half way home.

I had a rental before Xmas bcuz someone ran into my car. I decided to make that 18hour drive. Thank God I did.

I just was back Home frim the 20th to 27th in NO. Had no issues with Southwest. Was extremely lucky tho.

bailout money SHOULD NEVER be allowed to be used for company stock buy backs.

that only benefits the major shareholders (like the ceo and other executives).

they are essentially taking taxpayer money and putting it directly in their pocket. that should be illegal.
