That’s the thing. They’ve played poorly and have been injured, yet have been winning.

These guys most likely will get it going and get on a run.

Thats why Im dismissing that nonsense.
Not trying to battle we just have difference on opinion.

But I’m curious what injured players are you referring to because besides Dominguez I’m not confident you can expect anything from anyone else.

Can’t expect anything from DJ track record not good. Can’t expect anything from the bullpen guys trivino and kahnle track record not good.

Hopefully Cole comes back healthy and I’m holding my breath but it’s def a concern he doesn’t pitch this season. But I’ll be positive and hopefully he comes back as the Cole we all k ow and love.

But see that's the thing: We can't wait until they start losing, to finally acknowledge the problems

This is their 4th shutout already. And how many late comebacks have they had already?

I'm not panicking. But the issues are right in front of everyone

Not gonna entertain the back and forth since you dead set in your negative views at this point.

Listen I get it, and yeah they’ve had plenty of comebacks that is hard to count them.

I’m confident things will balance eventually.

This was not worst than the Cleveland one breh
I'm just annoyed because Oakland got romped in Cleveland coming in today lol. I wish I could blame this loss on the weird starting time but they've been shut out a little too many times so far.

The answer's right there in front of everyone, Judge and Torres to a smaller part, have to start hitting better, it's almost May.

I’m just not surprised that Oakland came here and stoled one. They’ve done every year at the Stadium it seems. :beli:

Judge has to be sick of answering questions about his lack of spring training causing this slow start. He's likely nearing a 100 at bats by this point, I think we need to think of a new excuse :mjlol:

One of the worst offenses last year and now shut out 4 times in less than a month. They don't deserve the benefit of the doubt. Adding Soto to this lineup is like putting lipstick on a pig.
we all predicted that they were playing with fire at catcher, first base, third base, and DH. That they have gotten so little at centerfield and second base is the issue. I don’t think any of us saw Judge and Torres hitting roughly a combined .180 with 3 homers between them. The issue is all the other spots they could’ve done something but didn’t.

I was saying all offseason they can’t count on Rizzo to produce for them at first. I figured they were stuck at DH and that their options were limited at catcher, but they had to do something at first base. Rizzo missed a lot of time and played bad when he was there after the break in 2022 and he was basically rendered useless/unavailable entirely after 60 games last year. Now he’s gonna be 35 this summer and hasn’t had a batting average over .250 or an OBP of .345 or higher in five years. 22 games in he’s got 3 extra base hits. By May they have to do something if he doesn’t turn it around. They cannot have this guy hitting 4/5 in the lineup with his approach at the plate and no power whatsoever.

This team completely fukked themselves being content to bring him back when Freddie Freeman and Matt Olson were both available at the cost of some draft picks/prospects or 15-20% more in salary compared to Rizzo :snoop:

I don't think anyone thought Freeman was realistic. Not even Freeman cuz he wanted to go back to Atlanta.

Olson woulda gutted the system, and that's including Volpe and the Martian.

I'm still all-in on Murakami once he's posted. But the offense will improve once Dominguez returns. Just sucks that none of the outfielders also play corner infield.
