It’s night and day comparing their approach at the plate now with the past 6-7 years :ahh:. This is an approach I haven’t seen them have as a team since the dynasty years and 2009 :banderas:

Reminds me of when Bobby Abreu, Sheffield, Giambi and Matsui would see 80 pitches every night in the middle of the order :pachaha:

It's the first week of the season, but this team HAS to at some point start trusting someone other than Cole to pitch deeper into games.

So in May, if Gil's doing this again, let him rock. Schmidt, same thing. The arms won't make it to October if all we ask is 5 and fly.
