We have a Dominican Martian on our bench, but we're catering to the wishes of a guy hitting .030 right now.
This Verdugo stuff really needs to be explained. At this point, Cashman or Hal needs to pull Boone into a room on this. Enough already. Dominguez 100% couldn't do worse in the field nor at the plate nor on the bases.

Nah, in the field he would. Let’s not kid ourselves now.

Jazz ain't a serious enough player for this environment
I feel like since they reined him in, he's lost that extra "sauce" that he had when he came over to us. He was electric and the fanbase was rocking with him.

Jazz's energy is precisely what this team needs this postseason, but the Yankees' organization prefer the stoic Judge attitude. Similar with Jeter's reign towards the end.

I feel, just my intuition, that they asked Jazz or inferred for him to tone it down some. We could use his enthusiasm and The Martian's presence in the lineup to manufacture some sense of fun. That shyt is contagious and lightens everyone up. We need to win #28 this year. No excuses.

One game doesn't erase what Verdugo has been for months at the plate. He has too many uncompetitive at-bats for me. Why he's getting such a benefit of the doubt is beyond me.

Dominguez deserves the opportunity to show what he can do. If not, what should we expect from him next season? And based on what?

Breh look at my post at the top. I’m not disputing any of this. :heh:

I just referred to Dominguez defense in my reply.
