the Yankees against the AL Central was so damn good. I'll take my chances with the Royals even though Lugo/Ragans is solid as hell. If the road to the World Series is basically just AL Central teams and the Yankees don't advance, the entire front office should pack its bags.

We're a game each way away from it being the Yankees vs. the AL Central. Don't overthink this. The Tigers might be the most dangerous team just because they have nothing to lose. They're there for fukkery purposes.

Pretty sure Justin Verlander is the only active player left from their last matchup 12 years ago. Doubt any coaches or executives are left either. May as well be a whole new franchise compared to those teams
