Other than the ability to play multiple infield positions, it seems like his strength is speed which on a slow team is probably a good thing.

Next time we'll see Ben Rortvedt is at Old Timer's Day :mjcry:

Desperate move for a desperate team supposedly the prospect they traded was shooting up the rankings.
It’ll probably backfire for one reason or another but a guy who defends well at multiple positions (one of which is badly needed), hits for a high average, and is both fast and steals a lot of bases seems to be a good move.

I really think the focus for the Yankees is just to survive until June.

Remain in the hunt and hope Gerrit Cole returns and finishes the season healthy.
If they can do that and if Jasson Dominguez returns and hits well, they will be well-positioned.

Anthony Volpe had a nice Spring Training. I don't have a lot of faith in him offensively but I hope he proves me wrong.
