Second, nobody is denying dark skinned people have a harder time, that's not the point, light skinned people are still our people. Even if white people didn't perpetuate it out of their own ignorance. Purity tests never work out well for any group ever in history.
how is that so when one has a caucasian parent? Not even talking about a great great grand parent i am talking about immediate family caucasian as a dad or mother. I am sorry but they automatically fall into a subcategory of mullatoo/biracial/multi-racial whatever but please dont disrespect 100%s with that talk of our ppl. Mixed race ppl can get past doors blks cant there is a reason for that. Stop it

Get Out was also a comedy. This is trying to capitalize on the black-man in a white world aspect of Get Out. It's not hard to see. They just replaced a family with a job and tried to be funnier with it. But it's definitely trying to tap into the racial elements of Get Out.

Get Out has some comedy to it, but it is not an outright comedy. It is a horror-thriller that uses comedy to relieve a bit of the tension before becoming tenser. I have actually seen Sorry to Bother You, so it is hysterical that you are arguing about a movie you have not seen being like Get Out. They are not alike in the slightest. For starters, Sorry to Bother You has heavy science fiction. The trailer reveals nothing about it.

So when Get Out has white people being placed into black bodies, that isn't science fiction? And the trailer for this movie is clearly about a black guy dealing with race issues amongst whites, just like Get Out. They clearly drew from the same shyt here. LMAO. Everytime yall speak "well this is a comedy, get out wasn't". Get Out had lots of comedy. "well this is science fiction, get out didn't have science fiction"...Get Out literally has people switching bodies. LOL. Yall sound stupid. Even the little thumbnail snap shot has the main character doing a similar stare into the camera like ole boy from Get Out.

As I stated, the trailer reveals nothing about it. Actually, the movie is mainly about capitalism. By the way, I never stated that Get Out is without science fiction. I stated that Sorry to Bother you is heavy science fiction. People will legitimately classify Sorry to Bother You as a science fiction movie. That stare has also been employed with way more movies than just Get Out, so is that really where you are trying to go?

Saw it tonight.

Terrifying movie. Great trailer because it does not tell you everything. In fact, its very minor.

Think of current society actually being dystopia.

4.5/5. Funny as fukk but it gets very scary and also makes you think. Its Get Out-like in its satire, but this probably scared me more.

Don't think this is a movie to see while you are high either.

When you say "terrifying", do you mean that they go the jump scare, scary monster route? Or is it cerebral horror like in Get Out?

Also, since Boots Riley directed this, is the soundtrack jammin'? Are there some Bay area classics in the movie?
