The more I watch the show the hero worship for Tony fades. When I started watching in '99 I always wanted Tony to win. You go back and watch it season by season you see him for what he always was, a sociopathic, dyed in the wool shytty human being.

That's why I hate the way they ended the series. They should've showed him with his brains splattered all over.

One thing overlooked is how shytty the FBI is. They set Adriana up knowing she would eventually get killed. Even if she didn't come clean Tony and Chris where going to figure it out.

Richie Apriele was the most underrated character on the show. Dudes character was great, wish they would have kept him on longer.

When he punches Janice in her grill then starts eating his pasta... Like nothing happened. "you gon cry about it?"

Readin the Walter White v Tony Soprano thread that got bumped it reminded me just how much better Sopranos was. Go back and look at the opening scene from Full Measure (S03E13) when Walt and Sky are in a flashback hunting their first house. You call that shyt acting? :scust:

I loved Breaking Bad but it just ain't in the same stratosphere.

Been rewatching the seasons for the past few weeks.

I'm on Marco Polo in season 5 and it still amazes me that Tony B. could be dumb enough to clap Joey Peeps :snoop:
He did it to piss off Tony, he never fukked with Tony as he felt Tony bytched out on him...His whole time out he was starting a war with NY, and using his respected NY connects to position himself as the boss...

Just an example of how respected Tony was that Carmine ain't know Paulie, but the ny top dogs knew and fukked with Tony b even after his extended time

This, he resented Tony. First sign of this is when him and Chris are alone and he starts cracking jokes on the boss, Chris is like :whoa: at first.

Then at the dinner they go back to shytting on Chris :heh:
