The thread about Carmella Soprano made me thing we should discuss the whole series.
What did you like about the series?
What didn't you like?
Who did you like the most?
Who did you hate?

Christopher was my favorite character from the show. Dude would ride or die for Tony but I feel like he never appreciated that shyt, just abused it. When Tony killed him I was like :mjcry:. This dude did literally anything and everything he asked of him.
I fukking HATED Anthony Junior. I was seriously hoping that dumb piece of shyt died when he jumped in that pool with the cinder block. I can't even think of a show where I've felt less sympathy for a character.

Hell Janice Soprano was a piece of shyt, but for whatever reason her character was likeable, maybe it was just because the actress played her character well.

LOL@the attitude over discussing Sopranos when dudes make The Wire threads 3x a fukking week around this place:laugh:

One of the funniest things about the show was when Ralph was around and was feuding with Tony and they made a BIG DEAL about him being made into a Captain because he was a earner and all of that. But Tony was acting funny and being his usual sociopathic self. But after all of that drama and shyt, him beating him up over the killing the stripper, he eventually gets rid of him over that damn horse. That was ALWAYS a hilarious moment..."after ALL OF THAT? A fukkING HORSE, NYGGA?!"

Seriously though, streaming is changing everything. I can see someone watching The Shield or Mad Men or finding Bloodline on Netflix 5 years after it was released and thinking.....wow..I really want to talk about this. You almost have to just go read old message board posts. Someone is watching, say, Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the first time right now and wanting to have a huge conversation about it. Back in the day people had to watch reruns, then you had to buy or rent the tapes or dvds.

Also I've noticed that binge watching a show is completely different than waiting week to week in the perception of it. Sometimes on netflix you are watching a show and go.....eh...didn't like that turn, don't know if I like where it is going.....but you can literally see where it is going immediately and sometimes get surprised. But if it were on tv week to week, you might bail and go out that night, then lose interest.

Especially all these shows people complain are "slow".

So true.
When I seen him sitting with his psychiatrist talkin about Ducks I was like "What the fukk is this shyt? :dahell: This the show everybody is telling me is so good?" I probably wouldn't have watched the 2nd episode if I had to wait a whole week.

you missed that one by a mile homey...the horse was a metaphor/symbolism/story arc for Tracee... you can google it yourself the connections but one I remember off the top of my head was the first episode Tracee was in one of the mob dudes says "she's a stallion, isn't she" or something along those lines... so they foreshadowed this when Tracee was alive... also, I believe Tony went to the Bada Bing and he looks at a picture of trace immediately after he killed Ralph...

He also says "SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL CREATURE" to Ralphie while choking him, leaving it ambiguous as to weather he is referring to Tracee or Pie.

I've only seen the ENTIRE series once...watched some of Season 3 again every once awhile. So MAYBE what you say has merit but I would have to go over the entire set up to see the angles and the forecomings all over again.

I LOVED the Gloria situation...when she got too out of hand. "I'll tell your daughter what you do!" That fat motherf1cker chased her like his life depended on it:laugh:

Phil was a goon.
He just needed a reason to go to war with Tony after his brother died.

One of the most #CreamSchemeApproved shows :wow:

I'd say season 2, 5, and 6 were my favorites.

Tony and Phil were my favorite characters. :ehh: Also Meadow :datazz::youngsabo:
