Simple really. You have to decide if getting reparations is a major goal. If so, you have to groom the next few generations to become politicians, judges and more importantly senators. There is not enough kindness nor foolishness in the world for white men and woman to pass reparations. It can only be done by you.

Get serious about teaching your children how to read, do math and be social with purpose before they enter kindergarten. And as a community give them the support they need along the way. Pass them something down, a purpose.

Not sure if this is a troll post or serious but I'll bite. We have to get serious about politics as a clearly defined group and make politics a daily part of our lives. When you do that you can organize and start advocating for your community. As for reparations specifically the push will not change and should be at the core of your politics because it is a debt owed. Trump winning makes it a lot harder but it still has to be the goal along with a black agenda.

There is a lot of blame to go around for this epic loss and we share some of it in who we listen to when it comes to politics. Not only do we listen to celebrities entirely too much we listen to hacks like Roland Martin, Angela Rye etc. who are only interested in their own status above the community. I know the democratic party will likely not learn a lesson from this but we have to.
