Google does have a monopoly, especially on Android. Android is supposed to be open source but it's damn near impossible to get an android phone without Google services

That doesn't sound terrible as it's not like Google is preventing that. Anyone can install a APK so Google shipping out with Firefox or whatever is no big deal. We still get those trash Samsung browsers preinstalled
