Hold up they actually made this movie? And they’re gonna release it? When the news of it first hit I thought it was just a concept Sony was toying with but probably wouldn’t make. So all the derivative spider characters actually somehow came before Spider-Man? It’s about to be a fukkery 1-2 punch between this and The Marvels. I’m in

Wait is this what they were talking about when they said Sweeney would play Black Cat or is she still playing Black Cat?

They did a good job casting some eye candy in it but it's still probably going to go triple packing peanuts when it drops.

Black Cat and Spider woman are two different characters.

Spider woman has nothing to do with Spiderman. She is only here because of a technicality with the Spiderman rights

There is nothing that says females can't be superheroes. A good movie is a good movie. A lot of times, they make bad movies.

Captain Marvel as a superhero movie is perfect.

Parts of the first Wonder Woman works as a superhero movie as well as her scenes in Zack Snyder's justice league.

I can't speak on The Marvels because I don't see movies In the theatres, I know the villian is powerful.

1984 was ruined because of WB politics and an anti Snyder agenda, sane thing happened with Shazam 2.

Black Widow was only made because Disney had to justify giving Scar jo more than 20 million dollars for being the cool girl at the nerd table and had to justify it. It was a half hearted effort that failed in translation.

Birds of Prey was some shyt somebody came up with to keep Margot Robbie happy while they were still figuring things out with the Batman franchise, it mostly doesn't work.

A lot of comic book material gas been mistranslated and often time, overused, like the Dark Phoenix storyline. Some stuff should have never been used in the first place.

We cannot say definitely whether or not a women can be a superhero until a trailer cones out.
Nikkas keep missing the point. It's not about thinking women can't be superheroes, it's about the awful delivery and attempts to skate around the hero's journey because feminism legit doesn't understand it

Funny that you mention Wonder Woman because that movie had a great reception and didn't get the "y'all hate women" backlash that these garbage movies get.

Why? Because Wonder Woman(2017) was a competent telling of the hero's journey. Diana could've remained in Themyscira and been royalty but she rejected it to help people she had no connection to. That level of selflessness and sacrifice is what these "strong" female characters are missing. This is why they're rejected

These feminist driven characters are never in real danger, don't ever sacrifice anything, and are extremely selfish (you find a lot of "I" and "me" with these characters and it makes them sound like villians). They're just awesome because the movies say so and you're an incel MAGA sexist if you disagree

If you want to be placed in the hero box you need to struggle, you need to get beat the fukk up, and you need to sacrifice something, and these "strong" woman writers are having a very hard time accepting that reality

Nikkas love Tony Stark because they watched him constantly struggle and fight his selfishness to do what he thought was right. Nikkas love Captain America because they knew he wouldn't hesitate to put his life on the line to save lives. How many of these strong female characters from the past decade can you say that for? The number is extremely small
