Phone barely offers anything that hasn't already been done, LOL at 1080p on a 5 inch screen like that means anything . only thing good about this phone is the water proof concept other then that there's nothing new and exciting i see no reason to pass on other lines.

What's not impressive about what has been shown and documented about this phone? You seem like you're bored and just feel like arguing with people about this.

What potential flaw do you see as a problem for this phone, besides the typical, "it's not an iPhone" statement.

And if you didn't know, Apple can't keep up with these high end Android devices. Damn near every high end Android device is better than the iPhone.

I guess I just would like to know from a person who has been burned 3 consecutive times by some "high end devices" what proof now do I have that there won't be a 4th time?

My evo is practically falling apart and I'm not even rough with the phone, software wise, there is shyt that it can no longer do that is just typical day to day stuff. It's telling me I have low space and yet I barely have anything on my phone anymore and practically erased all my games and a lot of apps.

It takes Damn near a minute just to send a text. Don't let me get on the battery life, I take it of charger and it drops 18% in 2 mins and I have the extended battery.


No, not trynna argue breh, just tired of copping phones that have all this hype, supposed to be so high end and superior yet a year later its but then I see someone with their iPhone and still happy as hell with it, no complaints no issues.

13MP camera with HDR video recording?

There's not going to be too many phones that come out that will be something that's never been done before, all we can ask for is a device that's spec'd out with cutting each tech in it. The Galaxy line has all the specs, but this phone has the specs AND the dope build quality. There's a reason why, only 2 people in this thread don't see why this is piff.

I had the EVO4G. Held onto it for over 2 years, and had it on launch day... I'm the wrong person to bytch to about the EVO4G.

That phone was a game changer, and I loved it. The battery wasn't great, but it was manageable unless you don't know shyt about smartphones.

That was 2 years ago though. Now? It's a whole different ballgame. We're talking about Jellybean OS and quad core phones with big batteries inside of them. Battery life used to be a problem years ago, now it's much improved. This Sony phone is more of an evolution of what we've seen happening with Android over the years. The hardware has finally caught up to the OS and these phones are truly impressive and easy to use.

And they don't limit you like an iOS device.

Yea the camera is special, but im not sure if its worth skipping over similar lines that have yet to be introduced we will see.

The EVO 4G was a huge moment in cell phones, a major step up that proved big screens were here to stay...if you live in a WiMax area? Please that phone was YEARS ahead of its time. webOS was revolutionary at the time, but anyone thinking it was going to crush everything was on the dust.

This SONY phone tho? It looks nice...looks sleek and modern, but at the end of the day its just an android phone. My body is ready for a Ubuntu, BlackBerry, or Windows Phone 8 device. I might be in a different boat tho as I am tired of Android and iOS...playing with 50+ phones since 2007 would do that to you.

It's like my phone got terminal cancer, I took it to the doctor (sprint) some time ago and was told there's nothing they can do.

This phone has never been wet, don't drop it much if ever, hell, no physical abuse

It didn't have a lot of RAM, so that probably explains the lack of memory notices you're getting. I rooted that phone within a few months of getting it and put CM7 on it and never looked back.

My pops is still using it right now because he lost his phone and I just put my old EVO on the line for him.
