Honestly this the best thing for gaming. I like how Xbox is defining themselves as America's console with all these American third party acquisitions. I hope this pushes Sony to go back to they Japanese roots a little more.

They will probably never totally remove COD from PlayStation consoles. Like Sony did with removing old Spiderman games from everything.

But they will probably pick strategic content to entice people away from PlayStation.

Maybe early releases or exclusive DLC, or maybe keeping FTP online on PlayStation, but the full game on Xbox.

Someone brought up a good point on how MS could even keep main CODs on PlayStation while ms throws out the occasional spin offs that is exclusive

It's all about making money and increasing profits. So they will honor contracts, but after that there will be some negotiations for certain titles. If anything I can see Sony making a play for their own FPS and have it exclusive to PS and PC.
