Such a bullshyt lawsuit. The dude is claiming that they're going after sony because they're the biggest digital market in gaming despite their price structure and commissions being similar to steam and Microsoft.

This can open a can of worms for all parties not just Playstation however Playstation has the worse percentages for companies.

The percentages is 30 percent for sony Microsoft and steam, what are you talking about? The only company offering better rates is epic, and ironically gamers hate their digital store.

The initial revenue split for sales on Steam is 70/30, meaning Steam takes 30% of sales and the remaining 70% goes to the developer. This split is further adjusted to 75/25 once a game has made over $10 million. And again to 80/20 when the game makes over $50 million.

According to Lori Wright, Vice President, Gaming, Media & Entertainment at Microsoft, the company's 30% revenue commission is "required" for Xbox consoles to be manufactured or sold. All Xbox hardware has been sold at a loss, and not a single generation's hardware sales have been profitable.

You're literally lying breh

Why are you comparing what Microsoft charges on their PC store to a company that doesn't even have a PC store?

They charge the same commission fee in the market they compete in, You're being disingenuous.

No Xbox Epic and Steam is 88/12.
afaik only Epic is 88/12

thing is Epic has shown that their revenue split doesn't change the price of games for consumers. and that's why this lawsuit is stupid. if Sony collected 0%, the price of games probably still wouldn't change
