But it's also smart because whether Xbox fans want to admit, it will take some of the spotlight off of the Xbox 720 reveal. This is a straight up business strategy move...

MS waited so long to have their reveal so it's nobody's fault but theirs. Stans didn't see the point of them firing back with their own presser sooner, now they'll probably have to share the console's first big info drop with a Sony refresher which we know will be around the same time as MS more than likely

M$ is waiting for E3, the traditional period when ALL new consoles have historically announced. Sony knows that if they wait till E3 no one will give a damn about their vaporware, so they instead announce these "pre-E3" conferences where they just invite a bunch of developers to tell everyone what will be coming out, without any video or evidence of said project. Its so patently obvious that they have nothing to show, but they insist on hosting these "reveals" anyway because it will garner them some press in the meantime.

In the end, they better bring it because if they pull another shyt system out of their ass like the PS3, Sony will go bankrupt for good.

Umph...sounds painful as hell just to even be an xbot. So much burning hate and strife in their hearts. Lack of any real exclusives to play and low attention for their beloved console has them resorting to troll threads over things something they seemingly have no interest and utter disdain in , over-paying for shyt that's free everywhere else, lying to themselves to make em feel better about it, constant system failure, battered wife syndrome over it...*sigh*.
