True. They're fukking abysmal though. I didn't grow up in North America so I always felt like they weren't meant for me, but I think we can all agree it will be a cold day in hell before any of his movies get any sort of critical acclaim.

This, that horrible movie 'Jack & Jill' made $149,673,788 and Grown ups 2 made $247 million. None of the movies have a budget higher than 100 million but they all make a profit. Say whatever you want about Sandler but you can't deny he's winning right now.

The OG Dragon Tattoo is great. The sequels are terrible stories, but as movies they might be even more terribly directed. One of them (I think the second one) has the most obnoxiously noticeable extras ever.

Maybe Sony should take the focus off the younger generation considering they are the only ones that go to dumb ass Adam Sandler movies, all the olds that have been hating his garbage, money-grab movies since the late 90s.

Adam Sandler is damn near keep them afloat. Dude gives you at minimum a 150 percent return on your investment. Are his movies rote and formuliaic, yes, but thats why people go to see them. Like it or not being different or thought provoking doesn't fly in movies, in general.
