What could the PS4 even do at this point?

Sony don't got the creative means and history to get away with Nintendo's antics by going off the board with some crazy shyt. These nikkas definitely ain't developed a structure like Microsoft that sets them up for growth in what they provide content-wise. The next Xbox can go in any direction, with multiple functions that can make people forget it's actually used for gaming. Sony's ability to build a sound and consistent experience away from the gaming aspect of the PS3 has been a letdown.

The only thing I can see the PS4 doing is going back to basics that made the PS2 the GOAT console. Let Microsoft charge us for online shyt, as it provides all sorts of content. The PS4 should just be what we wanted Nintendo to drop instead of a Wii-U: BE A GAMING CONSOLE FOR GAMERS.

PS3 launching at 600 killed them. If it were 399, would have been no problems. They outpriced their market.

Sony's 1st party games and studios are too good. PS4 will be fine

only way sony can get out of this with the ps4, is by selling the console to non hardgamers like the wii other then that they're fukked. i dont see the ps4 coming out next year either, it will be the year after when production cost is significantly lower.

Gotta appeal to casual clowns. Sadly, you people are mesmerized by polished turds. Thankfully ps4, is taking another generation and becoming the definition of gaming for a new generation of gamers. Trashbox has features, thats about it and the only one that matters is ingame soundtracks. Party chat ruined xbox.

Sony got one last shot with the ps4.

I'm starting to think it might be too late for that. With the Playstation 4 Sony has 2 options: 1, make it the most powerful console out and jump the next gen Xbox release, selling it for like 7-800 dollars and try to make a small profit from it now risking really poor sales. Or repeat what they did with the PS3 and selling it for roughly 4-500 dollars and taking a loss on every console doing nothing to get Sony out of debt. Also, with option 2 Sony doesn't have that add on business structure that was there before with the PS2 and PS3 where they can take a loss on a system and make a profit down the road banking on the console's lifespan.

Hopefully Sony pulls out of this, because even with this they are one of the better brands out there for electronics. There are way more options in terms of price but very few companies can see Sony quality, you only replace a Sony product to upgrade and not because it's cheaply built.

Yeah I can admit that sony in the beginning did copy alot of features from 360.

I still feel like Microsoft went the wrong way with charging for online play.
