Remember 10-15 years ago when people used to spend top dollar for Sony products because of the brand name...those days are long gone

what kinda shyt is it that we can say someone ONLY made 1.45 million a year

The CEO of Oracle made $96 million last year
Despite shares falling 23 percent
pretty standard. "low" salary, but lots of stock (which they can sell and only pay marginal tax rates on it). Biggest scam going.
Jobs did the same shyt.
Stocks locked in with all sorts of restrictions and other bullshyt. Plus, it doesn't exactly say "we are confident" if you have a bunch of execs dumping stocks when the price is right.
So essentially they'll have to live with that paper money for quite some time. Even while Sony shares are falling.
Sony shares have been on the rise since it bottomed out in December. I copped around 14 and it's around 16.50 now. Made over a stack on my shares since
But CEOs do this shyt all the time. It's looks good "PR Wise" to have a "low salary" even though your stock options are worth way more and its' taxed less than half of what you would pay if you took your salary instead of the stock.
