Gonna say the same thing. This game will probably have like 11-12 zones, whereas 25 years ago they had 9-10 zones. 25 fukking years and there's still only 11-12 zones
Rayman Legends had like 100-110 levels, with collectibles in each one as well, not to mention all those daily/weekly challenges that kept you coming back. Shyt is one of the GOAT platform games content-wise

I believe its gonna be 17 to 20 zones, most with 2 acts each. They got so much content that they keep pushing the game back. An,extra 2 months and more zones = a win win!

Back in the early 90's they were releasing a full Sonic game every year on a 16 MB cartridge... 25 years later and there's no more than 12-13 zones (apparently) and it's taking fukking years to come out (started development in early 2015 I read)

Many of those Sonic games development started literally days BEFORE the previous one was released (Sonic 2 was in development before sonic 1 came out; Sonic 3's the Tails assist move was removed from Sonic 2 development; Sonic and Knuckles stages were originally from Sonic 3, but they were removed due to short development time and wanting to experiment the Lock-on technology, etc.). That's why those games came so quick.

Sonic Team was making those games back then and it was Sega's flagship franchise when they were selling consoles. Sonic Mania is being made by a few indie dudes.
The fact that they've only announce 4 zones is worrying
You'd think if there were loads they'd be showing em all off but only ever showing the same 4 makes me think this is a small game
There will be A LOT MORE THAN 4 zones in Sonic Mania. I bet you not even a quarter of them are being shown.
