i didn't know Knuckles was rapping on the gamecube version

This was on the DC as well.
Anyways, Imma get the game, but I wish we would get a full fledged 3D Sonic game. I was born in 92, so I'm not crazy on side scrolling levels. All Sega needs to do is copy the 3D levels from Generations and Unleashed to make a great 3D standalone fast paced Sonic game. The nostalgia heads already got Mania, there's plenty of heads like me who grew up on 3D Sonic and just want that.

Yeah as much as I love colors and generations holdin square to win isn't as satisfying as gradually gaining momentum and actual platforming. I vastly prefer the adventure styled gameplay the balance between speed and platforming along with open areas it had was how a sonic game should play in 3d imo the adventure style just needed to be refined more. I hope this third playstyle is adventure-ish
