You have diabetes?

You have diabetes?
No, do you?do you?

Ding ding ding….it’s insane some of the drops in A1C I’ve seen in some patients who have stayed true to keto. Literally had someone with an A1C of 10.6 lower it all the way to 6.4 by the next time we measured it. I do still worry long term about heart complications, but I’d lying if I said I didn’t see the immediate impact on glucose levels. If you have type 2 diabetes you can cure yourself by eating a ketogenic diet and lifting weights.
I literally helped 3 type 2 diabetic get off the meds by not eating carbs and lifting weights.
Also there is actually a prescription for ozempic that is purely for weight loss called Wegovey, the only problem is most insurance companies barely pay for it and it runs around $1600 a month.
My blood work has always came back spectacular while on keto. Even if my weight is high, my blood pressure and hdl/ldl was within normal ranges. EKG showed my heart is strong and healthy.Ding ding ding….it’s insane some of the drops in A1C I’ve seen in some patients who have stayed true to keto. Pasta breads are man made and that's what's killing us. And HFCS and sugar. Sugar is man made processed as well. You eat from nature you won't be obese.
And they shouldnt. The problem is with muthafukkas, they always wanna ice skate up hill. Also there is actually a prescription for ozempic that is purely for weight loss called Wegovey, the only problem is most insurance companies barely pay for it and it runs around $1600 a month.
They all hard to get.
I go to a lil pharmacy in the hood that always has zepbound in stock. It's out the way but they always have it. Also wise to try to get more than a month supply at a time and start searching at least a be well or 2 before you're out.
Eli lilly said the shortage is getting better so your mom might want to look at mounjaro.
Call around to the mom and pop pharmacies in the hood. Gotta do some leg work to find a good plug.
I really appreciate you brothers. I'm going to discuss further with her in the morning. If you’re mom is truly struggling with finding ozempic, I’d suggest Trulicity. It’s in the same family of medicine and at least around my way it’s the most available in stock normally.
Idk, I know for me...I can't handle pasta and rice or I get fat and I don't satiate. So I carb cycle. It's really the fact that it's over processed...... processed food in general is killing Americans..... Italians eat homemade pasta daily damn near and don't have our health issues. The french make and consume fresh bread/pastry often and don't have our health issues. Rice is a staple across the globe, but for some reason, it's become unhealthy to eat in the US
I’d argue with the notion about groceries being so high, that once someone is fat adapted they’re naturally less hungry and therefore eat less which in theory should pave the way for buying better quality food if you’re not eating as much. But people don’t tend to think that way normally. And they shouldnt. The problem is with muthafukkas, they always wanna ice skate up hill.
Losing weight the right way and dieting or lifestyle changes, has taught me so much about my body. But the way this country works, it's hard to focus on your health when you have kids etc and stressed from work. This is why I'm glad more people aren't having kids. This country needs a massive reset in cost of living but it's all by design.
If you are fully physically able, you need to exercise. Maybe not the gym, but geaux for a walk, do some push ups, squats, sit ups cut out junk food and candy and fried food. But processed foods are cheap....
