Cancer is no joke though, seems like these doctors are just experimenting and throwing darts at a dartboard, even though there probably is cure for cancer out there. Chemo just seems really harsh on the body. Cancer doesn't care how much you work out or eat healthy, If cancer wants to take you out, it's going to take you out.

Various reasons. Overall health (diet, exercise, smoking, etc..), environmental factors, family history.

People that have family members or relatives with certain types of cancer are recommended to get checked regularly.

Most people won't know they have it until it's in its later stages. Jobs had enough money to catch it early. You can have cancer for years before it actually starts to have a physical toll.
