i disagree, can the sheep be racist to the wolf? if so, is it justified?
to me, racism needs a power structure behind it. which is why black bigotry is generally accepted by cacs. nikkas can hate on whites all day but we're not stopping them from employment, housing or general equality in their lives.
you're missing the point.
let me break it down on simpler terms.
racism is racism. it doesn't matter what type it is. to compare a white person being racist to a black person being more harmful than a black person being racist to a white person is absurd. it's like two people punching each other in the face than comparing the pain that they both felt where the one in greater pain is calling the hit they received as an assault. the person who is in less pain can't say that they've been assaulted because the hit wasn't hurtful despite the fact that both persons intended to cause harm to each other. it's the reasoning and intention behind the punch that really matters.
to call a white person a derogatory word because they're white is about the same as a black person getting called a derogatory word because they're black and etc. to tell a white person that they can't get offended @ a derogatory word that is intended to hurt them because they're white is fukked up. if that's your logic, you SHOULD apply it to yourself and lead by example.
you have some folks that misuse the word racism such as reverse racism and affirmative action where you have some white people that feel that nonwhites are receiving preferential treatment failing to realize that affirmative action is a way of helping folks that do NOT have a fair advantage simply because of their skin color, background, gender, and etc. sad reality. it's a deep subject but @ the same time, folks fail to realize what RACISM is, how it affects other people, and basically are ignorant on the subject.
we can talk about how racism has impacted people of different colors in society and etc. we can talk about lynching, slavery, and etc of what happened to black people in america at the hands of whites it still doesn't give a black person the right to be racist where it's okay to do the same thing. hell, if you don't like it or think that it's wrong, why be racist yourself? wouldn't that make you want to be a bigger person and NOT follow the same mentality of the shytheads that are doing it? to say that it's okay for a black person to call a white person a derogatory word and then to condemn a white person for doing the same thing to a black person is ridiculous. just because someone is a murderer doesn't give you the right to murder that person and to become a murderer yourself. you don't have the right.
For everybody saying that racism and bigotry are two different things make sure to distinguish between the two next time some white trash redneck calls you a ******. After all, he's only a prejudiced bigot since he doesn't hold a position of power.
