And before you say it, yes Biggie is superior in terms of "lyricism". So please, tell me where aside from that does Biggie best him at. He certainly doesn't have better song making ability, nor does he have a better catalog, plus Pat's impact on southern Hip Hop was/is comparable to Biggie's impact in the NYC scene.

I see KDY/DC in your sig so this post makes sense to me. I spent a lot of time in DC and with DC folks and udes from other places might not get how big Pat was there. But nah Big is super lyrical. Who would I rather listen to on a road trip? Pat. Who's the better overall artist, Big. Pat could never cross over. And believe me I wish he was in Juicy J shoes right now no hate to Juicy J.

Pat is better than any NY rapper that ever existed...Big is probably the closest NY rapper to being on Pat's level though...but this is at least a respectable comparison...infact, i would say BIG & Pat are more or less the same level of rapper, but what sets them apart is the fact that Pat's albums are just better overall and more enjoyable, mostly due to having far superior production...BIG didn't have the luxury of rapping over Paul & Juice beats...but instead them dull ass boom bap beats

I'm not from round KDY, my cousin is. But everyone around her came up on Pat like they came up on Big. But like I said in the first post, I concede that Biggie is better lyrically, but I feel like in all other areas Pat is better. I don't count crossover appeal because that has too many outside factors, but clearly Pat never crossed over because he kept gettin locked up.

I just dont see it. Mind you, I listen to Biggie so I'm not biased but overall he's not seeing Pat. Lyrically and in terms of mainstream success Big got it, but everything else, if you're honest with yourself and you've listened to both thoroughly, goes to Pat.

You don't gotta convince me I'd listen to Pat over Big 10/10 times that being said if he hadn't passed he might be in Jay spot so theres always that. But if we're just going song for song what am I going to listen to? Pat.
