Someone explain to me people playing dumb about Blade right now

it was just some action movie with vampires No Marvel logo in any of the trailers. Comic books weren't poppin back then like they are now. Blade being based on a comic book was like throwaway gee-whiz knowledge among slightly nerdy people or big fukkin geeks who read so many comics they came across Blade by happenstance.

The marvel logo would have been meaningless. How many Batman movies had dc logos on the trailers? The logos didn't start to matter until after blades existence
