They do need to blur out but not just to protect the women. It’s for the men
Bc unfortunately a lot of shyt that was goin down (consensually, at that time) would be seen as ‘sexual assault’ by the letter of the law today
And if there’s one demographic that will go by the letter of the law and try to bring a case it’s a woman who feels embarrassed and who no longer has her looks

I’m not excusing assaulting women, but I came up in this era. If a woman was out half naked she wanted aggressive sexual attention. We don’t have dress codes any more, so young people don’t associate roles and demeanor with presentation. I watch a lot of the news and women are wearing shyt at 9am you expect to see at the club.
In this culture it is something positive basically it'll said that it was several auntie's Hot Girl Summer.
Anothing thing that was positive is the relative lack of violence back then add a ton of Black Kids and trouble usually ensued.
Man, if they interview the police officer that was spreading ol girl's booty cheeks on the squad car...

45 minutes into this, and I don’t see anything REALLY bad yet. Kind of being presented in a “just us having fun” type of vibe. I guess if you want to see/hear about the real foul shyt that was happening, watch that old Freaknik doc from MTV, like 1998 or so. That doc was ROUGH and is the one that needs peoples faces blurred. Keep in mind I do have exactly 30 minutes left in this current doc and that’s plenty of time for the tone to shift.
