Sheamus is a lot more talented and athletic than Batista though.
As a wrestler Sheamus>Boretista
I liked Batista's short Heel Run at the end more anything I've ever seen from Sheamus. The one exception being that mini feud with Santino where he kept getting sonned every week, verbally by Santino, then physically by Morrison.

This is WWE, like that matters.
I'd much rather have Batista on my tv than Sheamus, bottom line.
That's cool, Batista was insuifferable for all but 3 weeks of his run in the WWE.
The reality is though, it's not a trade off. You`ll have Batista and Sheamus, and a main event spot will be taken up by a 40 something guy who isn't a good wrestler or talker who has no future in the company.
that was all DB, Fella's World Title run was total 
until Big Show bailed him out at Hell In A Cell. His Character/mic work was embarrassing too. DC Dave's work with Taker in 2007 shyts on Euro Cena's entire career.

That is more age playing a part and Batista being as green as sheamus.
With age limiting the types of athleticism Batista can employ via the regulations on moveset for a guy in batista's age bracket.
All you have to refer to is a guy like the boogieman being restricted because of age. Plus, being let go because of age in te, originally.
When, most grappler who have the real experience base Batista and boogieman lacked. Are doing more workrate wise inring.
Or the fact the entire workrate company wise is neutered because it is made to cater to cripple ache's age and history of injury.
So, when you factor in Batista being in the same age as cripple ache.
Plus, being considerably greener than sheamus.
Of course sheamus is allowed to appear more athletic at a younger age.
You need to look at more of the factors and realize why batista and sheamus equally suck.
If you know workrate....
There is no way you can crap on Batista and praise sheamus.
The both equally suck and neither is head and shoulders above the other.
Given the facts, and experience they have.

The worse part about this is.
Since, the wwe has no imagination booking wise.
We will not ever get an inventive or visionary use of Batista coming back into the company.
If the wwe had an excellent conceptual idea on how to accurately use its talent.
There would be no gripe about the return of Batista.
Yet, since we know this company has no idea how to book anything for over a decade plus now.
We know as consumers.
We will get the same low quality we always get.
All filed under the it is not supposed to be good theorem.
Now, do I believe it is good business to allow Batista a movie/inring pr run for his movies like the rock.
Yes, I do.
As I am all for any company lengthening their permeation in the public eye as a draw.
In the case of movies,...
I am all for the wwe lengthening their draw and perception to relate their grapplers or brand to movies.
Yet, the issue is.
The company sucks as an actual quality product.
Which defeats the very long term appeal and draw of aligning themselves with the draw attached to cinema.
So, all the momentum this company builds up.
By attaching itself to movies is defeated by their low quality product as a wrestling company.
It is like this company never learned from the dead draw of mr t.
To, the dead draw of hulk hogun and Kevin Nash as movie stars.
They have some good with the troika/halle connection.
They have some good with rock's draw from movies.
Yet, they kill any momentum they garner.
By putting on the awfully consistent low quality product inring.
Real talk, after that awful unimaginative gateway product we just sat through called wrasslemania.
I really do not see the mainstream crossover appeal aiding them.
