my hour wit it, damn my drum game trash
by no means a final submission if it becomes a battle, but here's my first hour with the sample
since we all producers I always share my half done shyt anyway
Sample is dope, but I wouldn't call it amazing. That's just me though.
I've heard this originally when @producingfire dropped his track a month ago, in this thread everybody seems to be thinking the same way in regards to flipping it. I think he's did it the best so far.
what are you talking about, kush sounds nothing like producing fires, and mine sounds nothing like either. They are not even the same chops in any way, all producing fire did was loop a part, wasn't really a flip per se. you probably only think his is the best because its words over it, fire my boy but he didn't really do shyt to it at all tbh.
this sample is worlds better than that oblivion one
at you catching feelings. I never said any of the beats were wack. I just thought producing fire's beat was the best. They all had the same vibe. Nobody really did anything creative with it.
I can critique a beat without words on it. What kind of statement is that?
You prolly don't like the Oblivion sample because you couldn't do much with it after gassing your self up like you were about to do some Just Blaze shyt while ending up making a beat that sounds like all of the other beats you make.
My Flip
This is real dope breh. My new favorite so far.
1. Tek (best overall flip, nice drums too.)
2. Prod. Fire (his was the smoothest)
3. Kush (most uptempo and hardest sounding one)
4. Zeus (weak drums held it back)
Just blaze shyt? ???? when have I ever made anythign that sounds like just blaze, still had like top 3? votes I think so obviously it couldn't have been too bad. Anyway...
this
def sounds like this
or this
or this
sound like you need to get your ears checked
oh great overseer of the tunnel lauderdale boss how would your excellency suggest a peasant such as myself flip this for it to be creative. I mean I chopped it to bits reversed it, pitched, and added all types of fukkery effects on it. alas its not enough, how can I create something that satiates your artistic pallet. I await your response with baited breath
at this nikka really being up in his feelings. Dude I don't know where all this attitude is coming from, but it's not a good look. I've never disrespected you.
As far as this sample. You can do all types of shyt to a beat, but it's the end result that matters breh. I don't care if you took the sample and chopped, reversed, cooked it dinner, or whatever. If the beat ain't hitting then it ain't hitting. Sometimes simple is better. Producing Fire's beat was a good example of that.
You in here trying to tear me down because you disagree with my views (even though I wasn't disrespectful), while I'm always trying to build and support cats in here.
but if you don't like that then.
Hiroyuki Sawano never disappoints. His Attack on Titan work was just as amazing of a soundtrack as Gundam Unicorn.
