I'm not a Ross fan. I don't really get the hype. Then again I a huge Curren$y fan and know he's hated on here for his flow and limited subject matter 
The only thing that really bothers me about Ross is people saying he's the best currently or he's better then Biggie.

All Ross is a average ass rapper with A+ beats and some how SOME WAY gets superstar features. I mean seriously, when Ross has a special feature, the feature artist ALWAYS renegades him on his shyt.

i'd much rather hear a spectacular mc over wack/average beats than a wack/average mc over spectacular beats. that's just me, i can understand why some people would prefer the latter though, it's all good. when i'm judging how dope a rapper is I'm not incorporating how dope his beats are into the equation, ha, i'm thinking about how dope his raps are and that's pretty much it. when i'm judging who got the hottest music that's when beat comes into play.

I always thought Ross was a average rapper, and I didn't like his whole gimmick. Never really messed with him until one day Valley Of Death came on my iPod in shuffle mode. Never heard the song before that but afterwards thought he actually had talent. Then, I heard him spit on that Diddy "Angels" song, and was impressed by him even more. The dude definitely can spit.. and had some nice verses on Telfon Don too. Now though, I think he's pretty much given up on trying to be dope lyrically and would rather just ride the beat and go "WOOOO".
