Ludacris is flatout wack. Ross' is nice. Dude got a crazy flow. His content ain't no more redundant than anyone elses.

i don't think people understand that when they say "he makes dope music, thats why i like him!" to defend an artist what they're really saying is "he sounds good over them dope ass beats", that's really all that means. give rick ross wack production and he'd be nothing. give nas wack production and....well, he's considered the GOAT and he's been rapping over wack production most of his career, ha. i don't think rick ross is pure trash but he's nothing special

He has improved as a rapper but he ain't talking about anything unique or original.
The last meaningful verse I heard from him was on "Valley of Death"
No one will be able to say what sets Ross apart from other rappers because there isn't anything other than his great ear for beats and 5 start features he recieves.

The things is not everybody sounds good over dope beats. You still need to be able to flow. Jay-Z has made a career of riding over great beats. His lyrics ain't that good, his ubject matter ain't that diverse. So really what the fukk is you saying? nikkas hate Nas albums because of the beats, is his lyrics over these so called wack beats any worse than the ones over so called dope beats, no.
