Dude, there is seriously no need to just pile on anyone and everyone who is involved with PSU. They're not dip shyts for being upset that Sandusky's actions and others' subsequent inactions caused THEIR football careers to be fukked up. They reserve that right and should feel that way. And it's real easy to pile on anyone involved with PSU but it's pretty immature - they are people too, they are not monsters like Sandusky. While they aren't the "victims", their lives are affected dramatically in a negative way, as are many others, in the wake. While it may not be a "good look" to you, which is a valid opinion, there is no need to just lump everyone involved with PSU, many of whom have had their lives affected and reputations tarnished simply BY ASSOCIATION, as unworthy of any human compassion. Innocent people who are affected by this in a negative way should be pissed off, and criticizing them for feeling that way is reflective of a mob mentality and intellectual laziness, subconscious grouping of innocent individuals with the guilty and that's really not fair. Which is why you see emotional replies from me about this at times

I kinda feel like it wasn't only one person...similar to how it was more than one person involved in the MLK assassination but 1 person took the fall. There was more than 1 person involved in the JFK assassination but only 1 person took the fall...more people were probably pedophiles but Sandusky just got caught and they put it all on him...maybe.It was hypothetical but seriously after all that has happened to this school in the last 7-8 months it literally blows my mind that all of this is happening because of ONE guy?? a school that was established in 1855 with a $1.7 billion dollar endowment is going to fall the fukk off from one sick assistant from over 10-15 years ago

C/s. I have no idea either - I guess the only people who knew about him were kids who couldn't fight back, investigators who would be violating the law in their own right if they went all vigilante on him, and administrators/politicians who either didn't know how bad the perversions were and/or were covering their own asses. The only one I can think of who was really in a position to fukk this dude up was McQueary, former PSU starting QB and relatively big strong dude. But he just ran home to his dad - still can't wrap my head around that one. Although I guess it's easy to say from the comfort of our laptops what we "would have done" in his position, still I'd like to think I could overcome the "bystander effect" if I saw what it is said that he saw.

Clemenza's kind of right, though.
If you believe in the conspiracy surrounding the missing DA that he was set up, why not set up Sandusky also? If Sandusky dies between say, 2007-2010 when nobody was checking for him anymore, they probably do get away with it.
Doubt Sandusky set him up
Dude chose not to prosecute in 98, thought he didn't have a case. He disappeared 7 years later. Doubtful that of all the people who knew about that fool by 2005, he woulda seen Gricar as a threat. Gricar's brother Roy killed himself in a similar manner a few years earlier, car found by a river and his body turned up a few days later. Doubt it's connected to Sandusky although it wouldn't shock me
