What was the briles rumor?
Briles offense is so basic. Teams don't have much difficulty defending an offense that doesn't make them make multiple decisions on each play. He thinks he can just "speed" teams into mistakes. This dude ain't Kyle Shanahan or some shyt. He's so far from being that.

So apparently he’s been going behind Taggs back and dimed him out to boosters about him “meddling” with the offense. You can also tell him and Clements have been leaking shyt to local media cause it’s stuff that you’d have to be in coaches meetings to know and on that side of the ball, Briles and Clements were the only ones who never had a real history with Taggs like Dugan, Pimp and Lockette. Now Stoops signs and Briles gets head coach in waiting tag. Shady shyt
I really don't believe that Briles HCIW stuff. I'm going to have to see that to believe it. He hasn't done one damn thing here for him to be elevated to that. The admin isn't perfect, but I don't think they're that shortsighted to make dude the future coach on some just because shyt. Not after the money they've just had to drum up and the monies they'll have to dole out for a new staff. Naw.

I’m partly believing it won’t happen but, and this is just me, it is weird how all of this shyt started leaking out. I’ve even heard rumors of Briles having it in his contract that his offense can’t be bothered with.
What I do know is the powers that be are inept af and if he does come, that means negotiations began a long time ago before this week for it to close this quick. Especially since Stoops was saying as late as the kickoff of the season that he wasn’t interested in coaching CFB again
I don't think it's happening Thursday or Friday. I'd be incredibly surprised if it did. It "might" happen in a week or two (if it does). FSU is in a "can't fukk up," position. You know how much FSU football means to Tally. It didn't workout with Willie, but they can't afford another mistake or a dude that might retire in a year if he feels like it. They're going to do some serious vetting.
If he doesnt come say good bye to the rest of the blue chip recruits..will be atleast a 3 year setback for the program
thats the part that scares me...I mean stoops can literally wake up one morning after a bad game and retire..Kendall Briles has not shown me he is ready to be a head coach within a 5 year period of a school like FSU...So to me hiring Stoops and making briles HCIW is the most riskiest thing for a program that needs stability...its an easy path to being Tennessee status IMO
Yeah, I really don't think anybody that watches FSU every week can look at Kendall Briles offense here and think, "Goddamn. This man is a genius."
