I just listen to podcasts and read a few articles. But from what I know from that, that’s part of the reason jimbo left. Fsu didn’t give him what he wanted because the budget is fycked up. Also this is wild because I guess it’s suppose to be a new ad in a few years. And part of the ad job now is to clean up the budget for the next ad.

He would usually get what he wanted but he would have to fight tooth and nail. TBH I think that was one of the reason why he left. And remember that indoor facility was a big issue for him.

Jimbo was always leaving. The shyt about the money/facilities was just a red herring from him and his agent. He was offered 75 million guaranteed. There was no way he was staying at FSU regardless of what facilities we had or what we told him, and eventually Thrasher pulled his card on that. He probably should’ve left too. He’s kinda a fractured man. A lot of shyt happened to him in Tally.

I’ve heard today but the Stoops shyt may be behind the scenes. Big Game Bob said he wasn’t leaving the XFL and the UK boards aren’t saying shyt about Mark leaving. I don’t think he’s going to be fired in season. If we finish this season how I expect us to (5-7 or 6-6)I don’t see him being back for a third go round, though. The “money” was always going to be there if it needed to be. That’s how these things work.

I don’t have a head coach hot list or some shyt, but I’d definitely take LSU’s OC as OC if I could get him.

I’d be extremely interested to hear what Thrasher thinks off the record. He’s retiring soon and probably didn’t want to have to make this kind of decision as he exited. All in all, he’s been a pretty damn good president. I didn’t want him hired at the time he was. I wanted a serious academic. Pretty sure he got FSU to move up FOURTY plus spots in the US News rankings in his time, and into the top 25 public universities in the country. That was a goal Barron set years and people thought it would be impossible for FSU to reach. Hell, that’s one of the reasons Barron left FSU because Penn State had more academic prestige, and we’re going to pass them soon. shyt, we’re number 18 right now. If we keep a semblance of this momentum, we’ll pass UF as the premier academic institution in FL. Life is just funny.
