The NFL is enamored with size, speed, combine stats. There's been dudes drafted in the first/second round at WR just because of the combine. For example, Stephen Hill out of GT when the Jets drafted him. Conley went to KC out of UGA last year in the 3rd because he killed the combine, and probably was like a 6th round pick based on production. We haven't been getting the size AND speed guys. It's one of the reasons I'm so excited about Terry because he could be one of those guys.

With that being said, we're recruiting at a really high level at TE, DB, etc. Our WR recruiting still isn't what it needs to be. Alabama and Clemson are coming in to FL and getting elite dudes every year.

I could give two fukks what somebody does in a combine. It's a waste. I'm all about film on the field.

Remember Mike Mamula? He was dubbed the work out warrior. Picked early and was average in the NFL

It's been a quiet ass off season -- which is good and bad.

We really need a big time year on the field. The program is stale and it shows in multiple areas.

After FSU beats Bama. I wonder what excuse people will come up with. You know the ACC is supposed to be so weak, but two different teams beat the top dog in Football and both have a winning record over the SEC in recent years.

Jimbo needs to step up this year. There really isn't any excuse. One problem I see is that he kept Kelly at DC. If the defense falters, it's all Jimbo's fault not even Kelly. Shouldn't have kept him. With Derwin James back, it's hard to believe but it seems like 1 player makes our defense. He is the only reason why I think they won't look like last year.

That not even a concern at all. This cat is supposed to be a top 5 pick in next years draft. You just don't see players like this often. I thought Jalen Ramsey was good, but Derwin definitely got him.
