The class was ok. Hate that FSU whiffed on a QB for the 2nd cycle in a row tho. The fan base and beat writers are being insufferable pussies on twitter. Best DB haul in the country, shored up the O Line, and got some for real bodies at LB. Good class for our needs.

At the presser, Willie alluded to the Sam Howell situation fukking them over and vowed not to ever do that again (OC single handedly recruiting a handpicked QB). I listened to a couple national podcasts and also the Nolecast, and the Lance to Maryland is a headscracther to pretty much everyone.....leaving some to openly question if a bag was dropped. Blackman was a 3* outta high school.....but so was Nolan. He played at Poly in Cali which is a competitive program and he was committed to Air Force so you know he can run. Add in that video posted from him slicing the entire defense on scout leads me to believe the QB room isn't in that bad of shape. Landing Sims so early lets me know recruiting a QB isnt an issue with Willie. He just got blindsided by Howell and was late to the party on a lot of '19 kids cause of him devoting a lot of time salvaging the '18 class and going whale hunting early on. FSU will be fine. There will be games where we might straight embarrass people....like both Cam and Lambo with 200 yards in the same game type embarrassment. We just need a point guard until we get an elite talent at QB and I think we have that.

Willie been shut them local clowns off. Thats why its nothing but negative stuff from them about the program. I knew it was a wrap when nobody reported Laborn getting caught with weed until the team released something months later. Also, the fact they were blindsided by Walt leaving just confirmed it. When Willie opted to save Blackman red shirt, it was clear he was making moves to withstand the blow of Howell leaving cause Walt was already "gone". They followed it up by chasing the Hugh Freeze narrative when he was never the option at OC. They're all over the place with their "scoops". As far as getting the school released videos we got last year, I can't call that one. FSU digital media team just sucks.
I like how proactive Willie and Co. are being. I don't care much about the timing of things, because rarely in life is the timing perfect or ideal. Whenever you act -- make the best decision possible -- regardless of the time.
