I was going to wait until every step was made, but since it was brought up about the fact that the paperwork for LB
Xavier Peters is at FSU per another report ... I wanted to address some things on what I know where things currently stand in the qualifying part for Xavier.
First, yes the paperwork is with the FSU admissions office and compliance. It's actually been there since early last week so they can look over, confirm everything from the test scores that came back. This is a very normal procedure for incoming prospects and this happens for every prospect before they are accepted to enroll at FSU.
Second, I've been told by those very close to the Peters situation — and this comes from someone from the Peters side of things, and not FSU — that the results were good and it is believed that Xavier did everything he needed to do with the score. This person has been my best contact on the subject and nailed everything perfectly on where things stood from the start with Xavier. They are a big reason why I knew step by step how things were materializing, both with how the online classes were going and of course the test score.
Now what I believe is going on currently is that the FSU admissions staff is making sure everything is confirmed with the numbers, and also paperwork to make sure he is good to go or if there is an issue. I don't know a timeline when this will be wrapped up. One source from the FSU side thinks it will be soon, but honestly I can't say for sure on the timeframe. Once there is a finality to this, I will address it. That's all I have guys.
