For the love of God, just let the babies stay home. Yes, it's not ideal, yes, they might be lonely cause they won't be around their lil friends, but at least they won't be in the hospital or get the entire family sick with a potentially deadly virus :snoop:

Babies can’t stay home by themselves and businesses don’t want to pay people to stay home and not work. And that’s only the simple stuff. What happens with kids who get 2 guaranteed meals at school as the only reliable way they eat? Who going to put that meals program together and pay for the logistics of all that?

Closing schools is an issue NOBODY wants any part of.

If the labor force resembled the 1950s when there was a parent at home, wouldn’t be an issue. But capitalism has pushed us to the point where both parents need to work, meaning there has to be a mechanism for watching kids, that being schools.
