Most of this country is quite "poor." The cost of travel is expensive especially if you have a family. On top of that our work hours are long and demanding and the media depicts the rest of the world as a war zone out to get America. It's not really that surprising.

I was speaking about people in developed countries, with that said ive met alot of people in those countries that have leftt their continentat those villagers in El Salvador, Zimbabwe, India, China, Romania, etc.
