Shoulders seem to be the determining factor for how heavy you look. I'm 220 and people think I'm 235ish due to my shoulders/chest being so big, not to mention my back.

For me it used to be the opposite. I have real broad shoulders and people used to think I weighed like 20-30 pounds less than I actually did. I always carried a nice amount of muscle but was never really bulky. So back when I was 210 or so folks thought I was 180 range.
