See, this is that bullshyt Kyrie is on misleading everyone. There's 129 guys making $10 million or more THIS season. You gotta get to player 207 (Kyle Singler) to find someone making under $5 million. EVERYBODY is eating right now. Guys like Otto Porter and Weedplate are getting max fukking deals.

The reason the league is bringing 22 teams to Orlando for 8 regular season games is so most of the local TV deals are completed (they have to play a certain number of games and they aren't there yet) which is a big chunk of revenue. I think all of those stations can renegotiate if they don't finish their games. That money gets spread around to ALL the players.

Guys saying it's league propaganda talking about the financial losses the players will have to eat...it's the truth because their contracts generally are based on a percentage of the salary cap. If that goes down, so do salaries. And this isn't like MLB where those owners are flat out saying they won't pay pro-rated contracts. The league has been actively trying to work to pay everyone in full.
10 mill is a far cry from 30 mill, 5 mill is closer to 10, that 10 is to 30.

This post only makes sense of you delude yourself into thinking there's only 1 choice: play or protest. 5 mil viewers on average per playoff game. How is that shutting players up? That's a big audience. Not to mentions 10s of millions of views on social media. This can only help us.

Theres NOTHING more pro black than black wealth.

20 NBA players made more than $30 million in salary this year. 51 made more than $20 million. 129 made more than $10 million. 205 made more than $5 million. 329 made more than $2 million. 481 made more than $1 million.

44 made less than $1 million

Some of that inevitable Coronavirus economic damage can be salvaged with these playoffs. Why not take it?
This post only makes sense if you delude yourself into thinking these dudes aren't wealthy and/or missing this season will prevent them from staying/becoming wealthy.

The league agreed to put 25% of players pay into escrow and it grew as the pandemic went on. 35% sounds about right.

The player salary could be, but the lost revenue part may be different. No matter what happens I think all parties will lose money and have to recoup. This has become a very complicated issue

just cancel the season and plan a fresh start for next season. No need to risk the health of the players with the upcoming second wave of the rona, have some common sense.
You guys gotta stop saying this shyt. Covid-19 isn't going anywhere by the time next season is supposed to begin so they will still need some type of bubble for the players if they want to have a season. What is your plan that isn't putting the league in a bubble? Just say cancel all seasons until there's a vaccine.
