Try ruler of the land, in my opinion it is the greatest martial arts manhwa/manga ever made. Be patient with the first initial chapters it gets much better and the art is sublime.Also if you like God of martial arts try eternal reverence, Tales of demons and Gods, Renegade Immortal, Veritas.

Ruler of the land is amazing, if you are into Wuxia martial arts movies it will be right up your alley. The only thing with it is you have to be patient, the first few chapters take time but boom once the plot develops it is superb. The main character can also be annoying but trust he evolves and completely changed based on the various shyt he goes through. The latest arc has turned him into a beast due to a revelation that occurred.

People stay saying it jumped the shark, like the first chapter didn't have somebody crushing a whole island with his hand from a remote location...

It got heavy action, foreshadowing is top notch, story keeps me entertained.

Nope. Its another standard RPG inspired - martial arts blend. There is nothing profound this manga does. Its narrative (plot, cast, characterization) and design (art, concept) is pedestrian. Its a reverse Hardcore Leveling Warrior without obnoxious/arrogant MC. If you adore stuff like ToG, TGoH, Gosu, Feng Sheng Ji, Red Storm, Id, Dangu, Nobleese you're NOT getting your fix here. However, if a SoA meets Tales of Eun Aran is your thing you'll like this. Oh and there's no getting OPM level choreography or seamlessness.

Bro, I can’t tell you what you’ve done for me. I read Dangu like 6 years ago and could never remember its name for the life of me but it stuck with me. I would try to remember and type stuff that I remember seeing in google but could never find it.
