This seems like jealousy to me.. washed up has-beens (Solange) or never will be's (Banks) going at Iggy for what? Cause she white?

I don't give any fukks about her music, but are they attacking her solely because she's white or is there something else at play here that started this? Where isn't anyone going at Eminem? Or is it just that Iggy is an easy target?

Where were Banks, Solange and all em "militants" speaking out about Justin Bieber saying n1gger. They was quiet as a mouse but everybody got something to say about Iggy now when she ain't even done shyt? :mjpls:

I stated this before......K Michelle had alot of criticism for Iggy azalea....but weeks before the Justin Bieber racist story came out...she was writing a song about him and stanning him...its something like that. I'm serious just google it ..It went under the radar but I remember it clear as day. It was hilarious because I was saying to myself even though that song and stanning was before his tapes come out(Bieber) here you are not admitting you did not give equal judgement

my friends, I don't know why people are having a go at Azaelia because only two years a go she saying this and that, from wanting to be with white men, going at Nicki or whatever.

People always take time to learn. Who cares if she learned this after being dropped and being low, it's what she's saying now that she has learned, grown up and seen that matters.

Lets say we are perfect, then still why are we judging this girl? There was a time too when we didn't know and those with knowledge opened their arms and taught us and at the same time were tolerant to not judge us and refuse us. But now that we're "perfect"...we are too good for this girl and will refuse her attempts and message and just call her a hypocrite?

That, is bullshyt.

It's hard to gauge what people really want from these artists. There doesn't seem to be any kind of middle ground, especially when they're successful. They're almost damned if they do and damned it they don't.

People go, "We don't need the Grammy's for validation. Pac never won one. BIG never won one. Nas never won one." Then, Macklemore wins the Grammy. Suddenly, the validation is wanted. It's outrage and white privilege. He should admit that he robbed Kendrick.

Macklemore admits it and acknowledges white privilege (way before he blew up). No one buys it as genuine.

Everyone hates them because of cultural appropriation and feel like they shouldn't be allowed to speak on the culture or community.

Then a tragedy happens, and you've got Azealia Banks on Twitter going, "If you're going to appropriate the culture, why hide when there are REAL issues and tragedy in the community? Where are you then? Why don't you tweet?"

Macklemore goes out to protest. Some give him props. Others dismiss it as a publicity stunt. Iggy says that tweets don't do as much actively donating to the cause.

It's like, do people want them to get on a podium every time they achieve a milestone and go, "First of all, I'd like to thank God, Black Jesus, and the black community for creating such an amazing artform. As a matter of fact, fukk it. I can't accept this award. I wouldn't even be here if I wasn't white. Here's your money back."

What does everyone REALLY want? I totally get defending the culture, but what's the end game and is it only a an issue worth speaking aloud on the radio (or a song a la Cole) when said white/other artists are plat or Grammy nominees because....

White people's favorite deflection tactics to dismiss black people:
1. Label the black person crazy
2. Begin questions with "where were you when..." Or "how come you don't...". Example: black person wears "I can't breathe" shirt, white person says, "how come you don't wear a shirt talking about black on black violence?"
3. Say they're playing the race card
4. Bring up OJ Simpson (the only person in the history of America who, to white people, got away with murder. Cops don't exist. Emmitt Till never got murdered.)
TO THEIR CREDIT...what do you want them to reply with? :heh:

Its not like they'll say "i'm sorry for being a culture vulture" :pachaha:

oblivious? did or did not all these black militant rappers completely ignore Justin Bieber's racist comments?

People quick to attack an easy target, but won't go after someone who they think can help their careers like Bieber.

nobody really saying anything about the white chick either though lol

aside from a few artists, just say you don't like azealia and be done with it bro

I got mixed feelings about this chick, I can't tell if she's real or she trying to capitalize off of the current state of black affairs. IDK the details but people say she was just on some Worshiping White men trip, then flips the script? I assume she's trying to capitalize or some white dude pulled her card and it set her off along with whats going on in Rap.

I remember when the Up and Smoke Tour started and MTV was doing a profile piece on Eminem, following him in his hometown. Kurt Loder tried to trap him into saying some slick shyt but Em shut it down real quick. I'm paraphrasing but this was the gist of it

Kurt: :leostare:You're a multiplatinum artist, you don't think its a little strange that you're one of the opening acts instead of the headliner?
Em: :ufdup:Ice Cube is a legend, it's an honor for me to be his opening act
I'd bet all of the money in the world that em was genuine with that too. He's a hip hop head first before anything else.
