Dream house hunting:wow: $350 million the most expensive house for sale in America
Mega Millions Jackpot for Fri, Aug 11, 2017
$382,000,000

The most expensive home in the United States is now for sale for a whopping $350 million.

The Bel-Air estate may be familiar to those who watched “The Beverly Hillbilliestelevision series, where it was featured. The property hit the market this week — months after the passing of its longtime owner, Univision billionaire A. Jerrold “Jerry” Perenchio, who died at age 86.
During his three decades living there, Perenchio named the estate “Chartwell” and expanded its size to 10.3 acres.
The 25,000-square-foot limestone mansion was built by architect Sumner Spaulding in 1933 and was inspired by 18th century French Neoclassical design. It features a wine cellar, a formal salon, a ballroom and a period-paneled dining room. Perenchio’s expansion of the property was designed by Henri Samuel, whose other clients included the Vanderbilts, Rothschilds and fashion designer Valentino.
The mansion sits on the sprawling property, which also touts a tennis court, a guest house designed by architect Wallace Neff, manicured gardens, a 75-foot pool and pool house, and a shielded parking area that fits 40 cars.
Part of Perenchio’s expansion includes the former home of Ronald and Nancy Reagan, located across the street, according to Variety. Perenchio purchased it in June 2016 for $15 million.
A slew of Los Angeles real estate agents from Hilton & Hyland, Coldwell Banker Global Luxury and Berkshire Hathaway Home Services have been enlisted to help sell the home.
In addition to the massive estate, Perenchio also owned a penthouse in Museum Tower in Manhattan and a private golf course in Malibu.

The Univision billionaire died and his family is selling it. I assumed he left them generational wealth but if they can make another $350 million to split up they are cool with that...must be nice:mjcry:

We are witnessing history right now folks

For 1st time, both national lottery games top $300 million

For the first time, U.S. lottery players will have a choice of games offering jackpots topping $300 million.

In the seven years since all U.S. lotteries began selling both Powerball and Mega Millions tickets, both games have never offered prizes so large at the same time.

The jackpot for Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing is an estimated $350 million, and the top prize for Wednesday night's Powerball drawing is $307 million. Those prizes are based on annuity options, paid over 29 years. Cash prizes would be an estimated $218.3 million for Mega Millions and $193.2 million for Powerball.

Of course, even with more options for giant payouts, the odds of winning a jackpot remain abysmal at one in 258.9 million for Mega Millions and one in 292.2 million for Powerball

I think I would take the 30 year plan. Actually I was thinking, if God grants me a tremendous miracle, I would take the lump sum on one of them and take the payments on another. I would live off the yearly payments, at 4 million in year one and growing that should be plenty. The lump sum, I would divide it in 4 parts. Save a quarter hopefully gaining interest, donate a quarter to those less fortunate, look out for my people's with a quarter only those closest to me cuz you know random old friends gonna pop up and invest a quarter. Buy some stocks that are looking to grow big or ones established like Google and Amazon. I'll still post on the coli tho.
