Facts. The chances don't "feel" materially better but they are. One in 29.2 million doesn't feel like much better odds than one in 292 million, but it is.

What's ass is that there are couples that have won the shyt multiple times, there was a Michigan couple that won Mega Millions 2x in the span of like 3 years, once for $15 million, and the second time for $42 million. Like why are you still fukking playing?

I assume it varies from state to state. Powerball costs $2 and the odds of losing are vastly higher than the $1 variants. Out here we have one called the superlotto, which is the one i play occasionally. The odds of winning a smaller jackpot from a couple hundred to maybe $20,000 or so is actually fairly high, with all things considered. Like i said, i'll only buy them if I'm going in for a big powerball pot at the same time though.
