Right now, nowhere
Unfortunately dark skinned women don't just get it from Hollywood. Many get it at home, have it reinforced at school, in the media, while dating, in friendships....

That type of white supremacy seeps it's way into every aspect of ones life...

Sad that she succumbed to it in this way
yep this is the worst part of it

Lil Kim the sex symbol didn't come about until her adulthood.
I said this, can you read? In the quote posted Kim says that she's ALWAYS been told that she wasn't pretty ALL OF HER LIFE. That's not true. I know for a fact that people have told her that she's pretty/attractive during her life.

Saying men and women looked up to her (during her career) minimizes the personal experiences she went through as a child and a teenager.
Now you're lying. I haven't minimized anything. I simply calling bullshyt on her saying that she's only encountered people who've told her that she isn't pretty/attractive.

I don't believe for one second she is lying.
That's because you're just a full of shyt as she is.

It's so easy for men to downplay a woman's issues if they deem her fukkable, your post proves that.
Stop lying. I haven't downplayed anything but her lying about only being told that she's unattractive. It's easy for weak women like you and Kim to completely dodge personal accountability/responsibility to blame others(black men). To women like you it's always somebody else's fault(black men). You're always a victim(of black men). I don't doubt that Kim has been through some shyt, but so has everybody to one extent of another.

In her quote she talks about not being pretty enough as a cause for her issues but you quickly resorted to her sexual attractiveness as a means to negate that. So many black women are sexualized to the point that that's all they know how to be to receive attention from men. Guess some black women should just be happy to be someone you would fcuk right?
Youre full of shyt. Here's her quote:

All my life, men have told me I wasn't pretty enough - even the men I was dating. And I'd be like, 'Well, why are you with me, then?' It's always been men putting me down just like my dad. To this day when someone says I'm cute, I can't see it. I don't see it no matter what anybody says.-lil kim

She contradicts herself in that quote. First she says that all of her life men have told her that she wasn't pretty enough..........but a couple sentences later she admits that men do tell her that she's cute but she can't see it. My point is that her claim that men have told her all of her life that she's not pretty is not true. Now she may be fukked up from her dad telling her that she's not pretty but it's a lie to say that that's the only thing that she's ever heard from men.
Nope. Still angry. All this vitriol towards black men is due to daddy issues
It's also due to living in a society that conditions black women to see black men as their enemy/oppressors.

lol. how many rap videos has success as having money, cars and non-black bytches, but yet she's self-hating or just following what she sees and hears
Yeah, it's black mens fault. :dead:

You're talking about the same Lil Kim that was a sex symbol for every teenager in the 90s before she mutilated her face? :heh:

Let's keep it funky in here.

You or me telling Kim in her comment sections don't mean squat to her, if the people who meant everything to her never made her feel beautiful.

Biggie chose the redbone who probably got dikked down by a man he was beefing with.

What is posted in the op is tragic, but that preference stuff is harmless though right?

I dont know what to say to you. This has nothing to do with black men and everything to do with the white supremacist/eurocentrist system and the white standards of beauty perpetuated by white men in power who put white women at front in center as that standard.

Black men...do not control the media. Do not control these fashion shoots. Do not cast these fashion shoots. Do not own the magazines like Vogue, W, V, esquire, that continue to perpetuate these beauty standards. Do not own these cable stations. Do not own the movie studios. See what im saying.

To blame black men for the bad decisions of black women is absolutely a disservice to black people period.

Seems some of you have resentment issues towards black men that you seriously need to get over. This scapegoating legitimately makes absolutely no sense in hindsight.

Your issues should be with the rest of society....not us.
What in the hell does that have to do with what I said:mindblown:
Of course white supremacy plays a role but to sit here and absolve black men for playing a role is downright absurd and pathetic. Her personal experiences have been that black men have told her she wasn't pretty enough, of course black men had no problem sleeping with her. You don't see the issue? Plus her own dad was probably the reason why her issues were so deep. A girl's first love is her father and in lil kim's case was a black man. He never saw her good enough so she held that in her heart. No one is scapegoating. A loving and nurturing environment is key for one's psychological health.

Saying that all of your life men have told me that I'm not pretty then turning around and acknowledging that men do tell you that you're pretty is a contradiction. You're an idiot so is the broad who dapped you.

Even tho I see and clearly understand both sides of this arguement, Kim's problem stemmed from the company she kept. She was under Versace's niece Donnetella and you know how that bytch looks. She let Hollywood influence her. Didn't come from Biggie's choices in women because he was still fukking with her. And it didn't come from Tupac. He declared war on that whole camp. No one was safe. Her self esteem issues came from influence and influence alone
