Yet another example of why Metacritic is a better indicator of what critics really think of a movie. All the 100 percent means is that 100 percent of critics believe that the movie is at least decent. So theoretically a movie that plays it safe and doesn’t take risks can have a higher RT score than a better, more
ambitious movie that takes more risks but is also more polarizing as a result. Metacritic actually calculates the ratings which is why Paddington 2 has an 88 on there, still great but not record breaking.

Do you know how hard it is to even make a 'safe, decent, non-ambitious' movie that plays well to critics?
