btw, my daughter submerged my ipod touch 4th generation in the bath before while it was still powered on.

yeah I saw the screen actually on while it was in the water. :mindblown:

I immediately snatched it out and turned it off. about an hour later, it was working except the sound wasn't working. about 4 hours later, it was working fine. didn't use rice or anything cuz I didn't know that trick at the time.

Dont listen to these guys. The rice trickery will make ur phone work BUT unexpectedly it will blow up next time you talking on it.

last update breh , I took the phone to a bootleg repair shop after 4 days they said the motherboard is dead it needed to be replaced butand I might as well buy as secound hand Iphone :to: im at the point where im thinking about switching and get an samsung galaxie phone


















































































went to applestore today explain the situation ,the girl notice today was the last day of my 1 year warranty gave me the :leostare: then :youngsabo: said she would replace it without charging me the 200$ out of warrenty fee :obezzy: now im :blessed: ,with that gesture apple kept me as a long time consumer for life job gang :salute:

Best thing for yall to do if you drop your phone in liquid, is to take it apart, remove the board and soak it in alcohol. The higher the percentage the better, the alcohol will dry the moisture out before it corrodes the board. If theres any corrosion on the board, you can most likely scrub it off with a toothbrush.


Its a crapshoot with displays though...but easier to replace that than the whole device :manny:
