Sohh forums was a place like no other. some real bonds got made over there. People weren't just fake personas hiding behind avatars and screen names. That forced a lot of us to have to be more considerate in our interactions to an extent, regardless of race and gender of the other posters. That's why we can miss people like Femme when they are gone. She was a real one.

As time and age catches up with a lot of us we should all pause to think about the kind of impact and legacy we are leaving behind with our lives and the people we come across even online. Spread more love and less hate, you might just leave behind some fond memories.

I'll be 42 this year...damn. I started lurking Sohh in 2000 when I was 23 and started posting in June 2001.

I remember how she kept thanking me for staying on Sohh when the exodus to theColi was happening. People thought it was a conspiracy since she used to live in Indy and I did as well lol.

Haven't talked to her since Sohh shutdown so I had no idea she was sick. Didn't know she was married to CerebralKineval either.

As a matter of fact, one of y'all who got FB hit me up cuz if I pass no one here would know.

I remember seeing her on SOHH back in the day. If I remember correctly, she used to kill brehs with one line responses in threads.

Like many others, I started with SOHH when I was young. Started lurking when I was 15, started posting when I was 19, and I'll be 33 in a little over a month.

I just realized that even though I don't post that often, some of y'all that have been posting for a long time have been part of my daily routine for nearly half my life. shyt is crazy.

Loved Beth. Even when her prognosis wasn’t looking good she battled on. She even joked about her “Wutang” tattoo and her getting an official one on her arm.

Definitely a light that will be missed.
