I watched the Sky Sports stram and when they cited other channel scorecards and I heard "Lederman has Kovalev up by 3" I just
Same as the first fight. All the streams I usually get to watch on Sundays are usually HBOs so I can't really choose but I noticed several times the past year that HBO was swaying viewers with that Lederman scoring. Even me because I'm still too green (got into boxing like 2 years ago) to score so when I didn't know how to score a round I'd be like "Welp, score it like Lederman then". And in close fights like superfights, it's really hard to be unbiased so one usually goes by the expert commenting.
I definitely understand the frustration from Ring brehs from HBO and when I get a Sky Sports stream now I'm
. Only con though is not hearing RJJ because I always like his commentary which is always on point. I can really do without Lampley ("HARD RIGHT HAND !") and unfortunately (because I kinda like him) Kellermann. What convinced me to stop fukkin with Max was in the last Loma fight when dude said something outrageous like "Loma is bowing down as if he was feeling the pain he inflicts to *other dude*" while Loma was just clowning. Got the
face immediately. Max tries to be the clever dude in the room far too often by over-analyzing.
Anyway great fight that was. I felt Kov was still in it by R6 (had it 3-3) but then he was gassing hard and looking for ways to take breathers. Him turning his back several times got me thinking he gave up mentally the same Wlad did against Fury. So I can't be mad at the stoppage and/or the low blows above all when standing 8 counts weren't possible. Man was a dead man boxing in the second half and Ward showed at times. I really appreciated Ward variety in the 4th and how he bamboozled Kov, he was clearly the superior boxer. Though I also like the effectiveness of Kov jab in that fight.
